ICC WTC Final: Virat, Pujara undergoes training in London for WTC Final: With just a couple of weeks left for the ICC WTC Final between India and Australia, the Indian players have started arriving in London to kickstart their final preparations for the event. In the pictures shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), team India’s test mainstay Virat Kohli can be seen uniting with the Indian contingent in London.

The ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 Final between India and Australia is slated to begin on June 7 at the Oval in London. The two sides will play out the summit clash to get crowned as the World Test Champions.

Notably, the first batch of Indian players along with the coaching staff landed in London a few days ago after the IPL 2023 league stage. The players who were not bound to participate in the IPL 2023 playoffs took a flight to the UK to begin their preparations for the marquee event.

Meanwhile, the remaining players will join the Indian squad after completing their IPL duties. The likes of Shubman Gill, Mohammad Shami, Ravindra Jadeja and Ajinkya Rahane are still involved in their IPL duties and will join their teammates in due time.

The Twitter account of the BCCI on Monday shared pictures of Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara and Jaydev Unadkat arriving at the training ground in London with the new sponsor kit.

“Arrival Alert🚨 @imVkohli, @cheteshwar1 and @JUnadkat are here,” captioned BCCI as it shared the pictures of aforementioned cricketers.

In another tweet, the BCCI informed that the players have begun their preparations for the ICC WTC Final at the Arundel Castle Cricket Club.

“#TeamIndia members begin their preparations for the #WTC23 at Arundel Castle Cricket Club,” wrote BCCI in the caption.

Meanwhile, skipper Rohit Sharma is expected to join the Indian contingent in London on Tuesday after his side, Mumbai Indians, was eliminated from the IPL 2023 final by Gujarat Titans (GT). Sharma alongside young Yashasvi Jaiswal took a flight to London on Monday.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was included in the Indian test setup as a stand-by player replacing Ruturaj Gaikwad, who pulled out citing personal reasons.
