ICC WTC Final: Tom Moody Names His Indian XI for the WTC Final; Prefers KS Bharat over Ishan Kishan

The ICC WTC Final is around the corner. The summit clash will see India and Australia locking horns with each other from the 7th to the 11th of June at Oval England. The rivalry between India and Australia has taken the next step. The two cricketing giants have been engaged in staggering games of late in Test cricket and have given their fans immense joy. However, there?ll be new spice to the rivalry this time as they will lock horns in the final of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final.?

With ICC WTC Final around the corner, many fans and pundits have started to predict the playing XI of both teams. The latest to join the bandwagon is former Australian cricketer Tom Moody has named his Indian XI for the high-octane clash at The Oval, England.?

Rohit Sharma along with Shubman Gill were the two openers that were picked by Tom Moody in his team. The will be pivotal for India if they have to fancy their chances of winning the ICC Trophy. At No.3 and No.4, there was no brainer as he picked Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli. 

Tom Moody then backed comeback man Ajinkya Rahane to bat at No.4. He didn?t hesitate in picking KS Bharat over Ishan Kishan as a keeper in the team. The reason behind picking the right-hander was he feels that he?s a traditional keeper and it might be difficult for Ishan to adjust in the middle over.?

Ravindra Jadeja according to Tom Moody will bat at No.6 and he also left out R Ashwin due to the conditions and instead picked Shardul Thakur as the fourth seamer in the team. He also gave Umesh Yadav a nod ahead of Jaydev Unadkat alongside Mohammad Shami and Mohammed Siraj in the team.
