A lot of players donned Indian whites in the last two editions of the ICC World Test Championship. There were quite a few staggering performances for India throughout the two cycles but it was an utter disappointment in the two finals.?
Another loss in the ICC tournament has raised some eyebrows and has seen many calling for some harsh steps to be taken. It?s fair to say that the upcoming edition of the ICC World Test Championship will see some new faces in the Indian team as the pacer of some senior players are under serious scanner.
There have been quite a few young players in the domestic circuit that have set the stage on fire and might be in contention for the spot in the team. The likes of Sarfaraz Khan, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Mukesh Kumar and many others have been hogging the headlines for their performances and it?s fair to say that they might be there in the team soon.?
Dinesh Karthik however, feels the same. He said that Sarfaraz Khan, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Mukesh Kumar should be given longer rope in the Tests in the upcoming ICC WTC edition. Speaking to Cricbuzz, he backed three youngsters to take charge.?
There have been quite a few reports that suggest that Jaiswal and Mukesh will be drafted into the team for the upcoming series against West Indies. Whereas as far as Sarfaraz is concerned, he?s the best domestic batter in India currently and might even play in the West Indies series.
