Going into the ICC World Cup 2023, fast bowlers are likely to play a huge role in the tournament. All the teams have some high-quality pacers in the ranks and with flat decks expected, they are expected to be a vital cog in the tournament.

With ICC World Cup 2023 around the corner, former South African pacer Dale Steyn picked 5 fast bowlers to watch out for in this World Cup. The first game he took was of India’s Mohammed Siraj. The fast bowler is currently the No.1 ranked pacer and for the last two years has been India’s prime speedster.

Dale Steyn then backed Kagiso Rabada as one of the pacers to look out for in the ICC World Cup 2023. Rabada will be the most crucial aspect for South Africa in the tournament, especially with Anrich Nortje being ruled out. He has fair experience of Indian conditions as well.

Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi is also picked by Dale Steyn among 5 fast bowlers to watch out in this World Cup. The left-arm pacer is the most lethal new ball bowler in world cricket currently. He has rattled the top order of many teams and would be hoping to do the same this time as well.

Trent Boult and England’s Mark Wood were the last two pacers picked by Dale Steyn among the 5 fast bowlers to watch out in this ICC World Cup 2023. The duo is among the top-ranked bowlers in the world and it’ll be no surprise if they set the stage on fire.
