ICC World Cup 2023: Marnus  Labuschagne to replace this player in Australian squad for World Cup 3

Australia Cricket team announced their provisional squad for the ICC World Cup 2023 recently and Marnus Labuschagne was the unlucky one who missed out from the squad. However, after that, he has batted superbly well and has been the best batter from the team.

Marnus Labuschagne’s performing staggering well in the South Africa series as well as the India series has given a headache to the Australian management. However, recent reports in code sports have suggested that the batter is in contention to join the team.

There were a lot of speculations that Marnus Labuschagne would replace the injured Travis Head in the team. But this isn’t the case as recent reports have suggested he will be getting added to the team in place of Ashton Agar and Head will retain his place in the team.

Ashton Agar reportedly has been ruled out of the ICC World Cup 2023. The all-rounder faced a calf injury, which ruled him out of the recently concluded ODI series against India. Labuschagne is therefore front runner to replace him in the team.
