New Zealand were exceptional towards the start of this tournament but a few backlashes have left them on scare of not being qualified for the World Cup Semis. The simple and conventional approach by the Kiwis has provided them with great success and ranks as well. They hold the 5th spot with 109 rating points.

Sri Lanka, who had to fight in the ICC World Cup Qualifiers are now placed 7th in the ranking. They lost the first three matches in the World Cup 2023 but made a strong comeback with two straight wins against England and the Netherlands. Now their unfortunate loss against Bangladesh forced them to lose 1 rating point but still maintained their 7th rank.
