They held the game tight for the first 90 minutes and scored on a counterattack in the 94th minute. The result of the game was 1-0. Further, the Japan team also managed to qualify for the “Round of 16”. In their game against Croatia, which went into penalties, they succumbed to the pressure and lost 3-1. 

The Republic of Korea beat Portugal in FIFA World Cup Qatar: 

The Republic of Korea also managed to make it to the “Round of 16”. They beat Portugal 2-1 in the group stage. Based on that result the qualification was fixed Their qualification was crucial as this FIFA World Cup Qatar saw 3 Asian/Para-Asian nations qualify for the knockout stages. Son Hun Min was their key player and he came to the party when it mattered the most. 

Senegal and Cameroon have Successful Campaigns:

Morocco and its success story will go down for ages. This is the team that has beaten a prime Spanish team and has earned its place in the quarter-finals. Achraf Hakimi and Hakim Ziyech have been the flag bearers of the footballing spirit in the nation. Both the boys will be keen on making an impact and getting a spot in the semi-finals.
