England vs India: England to visit India in February, BCCI announced the schedule.
England tour of India: The Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced the schedule for the England tour to India. The Englishmen are scheduled to visit India in February to embark return of International Cricket to India since the Covid-19 outbreak.
England and India will play a four-game test series followed by the five T20Is and to wrap three ODIs. Due to the prevailing Covid-19 tensions in India, BCCI marked three venues to host all the games.
Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Pune are the only three venues where all the games will be conducted.
Both the sides will begin the tour with four-match test series. The first two games of the red ball will be held at Chennai while the other two will be hosted by the newly built Motera Stadium, Ahmedabad.
Ahmedabad will also conduct the five-game T20I series. Both the teams will then head to Pune for the remaining ODI games.

No international game is organized in India since April. The last series against South Africa was called off due to the ranging pandemic. The India-England series will be the official return of international cricket to India.
Earlier, BCCI wanted to host IPL 2020 in India during April-May but it got shifted to UAE due to the harsh Covid conditions.
Virat Kohli and Co. are currently in Australia for the remaining test leg. Australia bagged the ODI series while India seized the T20I series with the same margin of 2-1.
England’s tour to India will be the part of ICC World Test Champianship. Both the teams will have the last chance to make it to the finals of the Test Championship.
The finals of the Test Champianship will be held later in 2021 at Lord’s, England.
India will also visit England in August-September 2021 for the test series. ECB announced the fixtures for the India tour to England last month.
