Delhi Capitals: Top 3 Best Key Players to Play for Delhi Capitals in TATA IPL 2023.
The Delhi Capitals will be without captain Rishabh Pant during the TATA IPL 2023 season. However, the team has several other amazing players. They are yet to crack the code of winning the TATA IPL, and maybe the TATA IPL 2023 can be their season of triumph. They do have the team to win but lack a good finisher. So, who are the key players who will possibly make a difference for the Delhi Capitals? Here is a look:
David Warner will be a Key Player for the Delhi Capitals:

David Warner is bound to be on the list of key players in any team. He has the make-it-or-break-it attitude. When Warner is at the crease entertainment is guaranteed. He will not waste time at the crease. David Warner does colossal damage on his day. He will win games single-handedly. He has the experience of winning the TATA IPL along with Sunrisers Hyderabad and that win give the Delhi Capitals hope. The leadership role may be assigned to him in the absence of Rishabh Pant, as he is the senior-most and the most ideal player for that role too. He will open alongside Prithvi Shaw.
Khaleel Ahmed/Chetan Sakariya will be Key Players for the Delhi Capitals:
Khaleel Ahmed or Chetan Sakariya will be the left-arm pacer of the Delhi Capitals for the entire tournament. Chetan Sakariya got his national cap in the India tour of Sri Lanka in 2021 and Khaleel was capped in 2018. But both these bowlers have moved the downward spiral ever since. Khaleel was a prospect for the 2019 World Cup too. But his injuries have not done wonders for his career. After Arshdeep Singh, he is the left-arm pacer to have the best stats in domestic cricket. Chetan on the other hand is a more economy-oriented death bowler. Khaleel is a super-quick powerplay bowler who gets lethal swings. Here is a look at their numbers:

Khaleel Ahmed:
| Matches | 82 |
| Wickets | 107 |
| Average | 23.46 |
| Economy | 8.17 |
| Best | 5/18 |
Chetan Sakariya:
| Matches | 44 |
| Wickets | 62 |
| Average | 19.8 |
| Economy | 7.52 |
| Best | 5/11 |
Manish Pandey will be a Key Player:
Manish Pandey is their number 3 or number 4 batter. He is a designated batter at that position and below that, his numbers begin to drop. If the Delhi Capitals are looking to extract the best of Manish Pandey, they have to play him up the order. Manish Pandey too will be looking to make a comeback to the national team.

The Indian cricket team is always looking for middle-order batters and one good season can flip the game in favor of Manish Pandey. He has been timing the ball well but his modes of dismissal have been unlucky and hence the numbers are not promising. But Pandey is a team man and is a great fielder too. He has a ton of experience which eventually means he is a source of knowledge for all the young players on the team. Hence, he will be key to the Delhi Capitals' success. Here is a look at Manish Pandey?s numbers:
| Matches | 288 |
| Innings | 264 |
| Runs | 6650 |
| Average | 32.43 |
| Strike Rate | 123.6 |
| 50s/100s | 38/3 |
| Best | 129* |
