David Miller OUT As South Africa Squad for Pakistan ODI And T20I Series Sees Massive Changes

Cricket South Africa on Thursday, October 23 made maasive changes to the squad for the T20I and ODIs series against Pakistan Cricket Team. The two teams will be locking horns with each other in the three-match T20I and ODI series. 

What was a major blow for South Africa was David Miller getting ruled out of both series due to a hamstring strain which he sustained ahead of the series. He has a grade-one tear and will be undergoing rehab.

Temba Bavuma has also been ruled out of the ODI series due to a calf strain. Also, Aiden Markram has been rested and this meant South Africa had to name new captains in the series. In the ODIs, Matthew Breetzke will lead the team, while Donovan Ferreira will be captaining the side in the T20Is. 

Tony De Zorzi has been added to both ODIs and T20Is. Gerald Coetzee has also been ruled out and has been replaced by Ottneil Baartman in the ODI squad and in T20Is. Quinton de Kock is back in the ODIs, having taken his retirement back recently.
