Australia vs India 3rd Test Match: Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s rocket arm throw to dismiss Steve Smith put him in the limelight on Friday. Steve Smith looked in complete damaging form after he came to bat on Day 1 of the third test match. Smith looked much more confident and tried to put Indian bowers under-pressure right from the start.

Steve Smith on Day 2 completed his 27th Test century and this was his 8th ton against India. However, after his hundred, not much batting was left as Indian bowlers took wickets from the other end.

Ravindra Jadeja as usual took his rocket arm to dismiss Steve Smith with a direct hit run out. Jadeja said this was one of his best efforts.

I will rewind and play that again says Jadeja:

“I will rewind and play this run-out as this is one of my best efforts,” said Jadeja during the virtual press conference after the stumps on Day 2.

Smith was in the mood to damage as much as possible before the last wicket, however, his temptation to take the strike against Ravindra Jadeja cost him his wicket.

“A direct hit from outside the 30-yard circle. This my favorite and best run-out. Three or four-wicket hauls are fine but this run-out will stay with me,” he added.

Smith departed after 131 runs and taht ends the Australian innings at 338 for 10.

India made a solid start with the new opening pair Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill. Both the openers provided a record-breaking start to India.

Shubman Gill completed his maiden fifty while Rohit Sharma departed on 26.

Later skipper Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara handled the innings. India amassed 96 runs before the stumps on Day2 with the loss of 2 wickets.

India trail by 242 runs.
