Kuldeep Yadav is hopeful to get a chance in India’s Sri Lanka tour in July

Australia vs India: Cricket experts not happy with India’s playing 11, Kuldeep Yadav must be included.

Australia vs India 4th Test Match: The cricketing pundits seems to be not happy with the playing 11 selection of Team Indian for the last Brisbane Test match. Team Indian made four forced changes to the side for the 4th Brisbane test.

T Natarajan, Shardul Thakur, Washington Sundar and Mayank Agarwal were brought in for Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Hanuma Vihari. But chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav was not included to the side.

Indian opted for four strong pace options while one spin, to everyone’s surprise, Indian went with five bowlers. The disappointment came when the list of the players left behind Kuldeep Yadav’s name.

Former Indian cricketer, Ajit Agarkar feels it is really unfair to miss out an experienced chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav in the surface of Gaba. Kuldeep Yadav has been heating the bench for a while in International cricket. Yadav who is experienced has a lot of variety to offer Indian side in the absence of experienced bowlers.

Kuldeep must be very disappointed: Ajit Agarkar

“I think Kuldeep Yadav must be very disappointed, and why shouldn’t he? As far as I remember, after the last Australia series, he was the number one spinner for India but hasn’t played a single test game since then. If you are opting for the five bowling options then why not to look at him. India definitely needed experience and he is surely. He will give the balance to the attack. If the surface at Gaba flattens up then there is nothing much for the pacers. At that time, he might play a different role,” Ajit Agarkar said on the Extra Innings show on Sony Star Sports.

“Indian doesn’t have that kind of attack, anyone quick like Mitchell Starc, who is out and out like a quick. He could provide something better to this inexperienced bowling attack. He has done well in the past when India toured Australia in 2018-19. He picked up the 5 wicket haul in that series. He could be that guy to look up to, So very surprised that he is not included to the final playing 11 despite playing with five bowlers.”

Former Indian cricketer, Aakash Chopra also showed his disappointment on Kuldeep’s omission. He said it is totally unfair for someone who is experienced and can be that x-factor. That decision of India really surprised me.

If you are the third spinner for the side and the other two who were playing the games are out then it is definitely your chance to play. He got to feel for Kuldeep Yadav who has been out of the international cricket for a while.
