AUS vs ENG Live: Travis Head’s explosive innings of 59 runs help Australia set a target of 180 for England

AUS vs ENG Live: The first match of the T20I series between Australia and England is being played at The Rose Bowl in Southampton. The visiting Australian team, batting first, has set a target of 180 runs for England to win. Opener Travis Head’s excellent form continues, he played a fiery innings of 59 runs.

Australia batted first and were all out for 179 runs in 19.3 overs. Openers Matthew Short and Travis Head took full advantage of the powerplay and scored 86 runs in just six overs. Short scored 41 runs in 26 balls with the help of four fours and two sixes, while in-form batsman Head scored 59 runs in just 23 balls with the help of eight fours and four sixes.

After the dismissal of both of them, apart from Josh Inglis, the performance of other batsman was not very special; Inglis played an innings of 37 runs in 27 balls with the help of two fours and a six.
