Asia Cup SUPER Fours Points Table Updated After Bangladesh National Cricket Team vs Sri Lankan National Cricket Team
Asia Cup 2025 has just entered the SUPER Fours stage, and we witnessed a great team game from Bangladesh last night against Sri Lanka. Sri Lankans were the favorites for the contest, but Bangla tigers have now turned the tables and they are leading the Asia Cup Super 4s Points Table 2025.
Bangladesh National Cricket Team vs Sri Lankan National Cricket Team Highlights
Sri Lanka started brightly with Kusal and Pathum making the most of the powerplay, but young Kamil Mishara couldn’t deliver yet again. By the halfway mark, they were 72/3, steady, but vulnerable. Then Mustafizur Rahman stormed in and ripped apart the middle order with three quick strikes.
Just when it looked like Sri Lanka would collapse, former skipper Dasun Shanaka fought back in style, smashing a fiery 64 off just 37 balls to lift them to a competitive 168.
Bangladesh’s chase began shakily as Tanzid Hasan fell early, but Litton Das and Saif Hasan steadied things with a flurry of boundaries. Litton departed to Hasaranga, yet Towhid Hridoy rose to the occasion. Both Saif and Towhid crafted crucial fifties, putting Bangladesh in complete control. A lively cameo from Shamim sealed the deal, as Bangladesh overpowered Sri Lanka by 4 wickets to kick off the Super Fours in style.
