Asia Cup Schedule 2023: The sixteenth edition of the Asia Cup is set to be held from August 30th to September 17, 2023. The official dates and other details of the Asia Cup 2023 have already been announced by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), a week ago. This edition of the tournament will consist of games in the One Day International (ODI) format. This article will walk you through all the details including Asia Cup Schedule 2023, Points Table, Squads, Venues, Asia Cup Live Matches, and Live Streaming.

Jay Shah, ACC President, on behalf of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), announced Asia Cup Schedule on 19th July. The announcement came after a long delay due to the tussle between the BCCI and the PCB. The BCCI had asserted that it would not send its players to Pakistan, which was the official host of the Asia Cup 2023, due to the long-standing border tensions between the two nations. On the other side, Pakistan was adamant to host the tournament on its own.

Eventually, following multiple rounds of meetings, a middle course was zeroed in on to conduct the six-team tournament in a hybrid model, with it being co-hosted by Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka are the reigning champions of the Asia Cup, having won the last year’s edition by defeating Pakistan by 23 runs in the UAE. Talking about history, India are decorated with the Asia Cup title seven times since its inception in 1984 while Sri Lanka stands second in the list with six titles in its cabinet.
