Asia Cup 2025 is just around the corner, as we are now just a countable days away from the commencement of the T20 Tournament. The Bangladesh Cricket team, a major contender in this year's Asia Cup tournament, has come up with a strong 16-member squad to clinch the trophy.

Under the leadership of the experienced wicket-keeper-batter Litton Das, Bangladesh have recently defeated Sri Lanka for the first time in Sri Lanka and also won the T20I series against Pakistan. Now, Bangladesh have put forth themselves as a heavyweight in the tournament.

Now for Asia Cup 2025, Bangladesh’s squad includes experienced pacers Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed. Meanwhile, Soumya Sarkar, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Tanvir Islam, and Hasan Mahmud are named as standbys. Notably, Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mohammad Naim, who played in the recent Pakistan series win, miss out on selection.

Bangla Tigers are placed on the Group B along side Afghanistan, Hong-Kong, and Sri Lanka. They will start off their tournament with a battle against Hong-Kong on 11th September.
