Asia Cup 2023: After various talks and meetings between ACC, BCCI and PCB, a hybrid model was accepted for the Asia Cup 2023. The tournament will be played from 31st August to 17th September in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Out of 13 games, 4 games will take place in Pakistan whereas 9 games will be played in Sri Lanka.

The official schedule of the Asia Cup 2023 is likely to be announced in the evening today. But ESPNCricinfo has released the draft schedule of the tournament. The opening game will be played between Pakistan and Nepal at Multan on 30th August. 

The much anticipated India vs Pakistan game will be played on 2nd September in Kandy. The focus will be then on the game between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan on 3rd September in Lahore. After this, it will be time for the Super 4s. 

The first match of the Super 4s will be played between A1 and B2 on 6th September in Lahore. It is likely to be between Pakistan vs Bangladesh or Afghanistan. If both India and Pakistan qualify for this stage then they will be facing each other in super 4s on 10th September in Kandy.

Pakistan will likely remain A1, India A2, Sri Lanka B1 & Bangladesh B2. The final of the tournament will be played on 17th Sept in Colombo.
