List of all U19 Asia Cup winners

The Asia Cup has been one of the most exciting tournaments in world cricket. All the Asian Giants compete with each other to prove their worth. The Asia Cup tournaments are played ahead of the ICC events, helping teams prepare. 

The first edition of the Asia Cup took place in 1982 and the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) also ensured that they started the U19 edition of the tournament as well. The maiden edition of the U19 Asia Cup took place in 1989 in Bangladesh, and it was India who emerged victorious. 

However, after the first edition, there was a gap of 14 years for the next U19 Asia Cup. It took place in 2003 and the third edition of the tournament took place in 2012. A total of 12 editions so far have taken place and India have won the titles the most number of times.

India have won the title eight times. They shared the trophy with Pakistan in 2012 edition as the final ended in a tie. But since 2016, India are yet to win the title and their latest defeat came to Pakistan in 2025.

Pakistan crushed India by a massive margin of 191 runs in the final of the U19 Asia Cup 2025. They posted a massive total of 347 runs on the board on the back of Sameer Minhas’ 172 and then Ali Raza took four wickets to bundle out India under 200 and win.
