Both England and Australia will be high on confidence as they are yet to lose the ever since Ben Stokes and Pat Cummins took charge of their respective teams. Australia recently won the ICC World Test Championship Final whereas England with their Bazball approach is the most exciting team.

Coming to England, it’s fair to say that duo of James Anderson and Stuart Broad will hold the key. They have been the backbone of the England bowling lineup and have ageing like fine wine. The duo are among the leading wicket-takers in the Tests and they will be a vital cog for England in the Ashes.

James Anderson and Stuart Broad even in their early 40s are performing like youngsters and are making a mockery of the opposition’s batting lineups. Their on-field record speaks for itself as they share more than 1100 wickets between them in the Tests and would be looking to add more to their tally.

Both are on the verge of creating a massive record in the upcoming Ashes 2023. While James Anderson needs 15 wickets to complete 700 wickets in the longest format of the game, Stuart Broad on the other hand is just 18 wickets away from 600 Test wickets. With 5 matches slated to take place in English conditions, it is likely that they can achieve the feat.
