Ashes 2023: England fast bowler Stuart Broad shocked all the cricket fans with the news of his retirement as the third day of the final match of the five-match series of The Ashes 2023 is underway between England and Australia.

Stuart Broad, a seasoned fast bowler for England, has announced his retirement from the cricket. In the fifth game of the Ashes series, he is facing off against Australia. After the third day of competition, Broad declared that this would be his final match. He will no longer participate in both domestic and international cricket matches. The 37-year-old Broad made his England debut in 2006. He had a nearly 17-year career.

Stuart Broad has played a total of 167 red ball cricket, 121 One Day International and 56 T20 International games for England. During this, he has taken a total of 845 wickets. Broad made his Test debut in 2007 against Sri Lanka.
