AB de Villiers picks the top four teams of the ICC World Cup 2023

ICC World Cup 2023: AB de Villiers, a former explosive South African batsman, has made a significant prediction regarding the World Cup 2023. On his YouTube channel, he made predictions for the top four teams in the ICC World Cup 2023. In addition to this, he has listed the names of the two teams that can challenge the opposing team in the World Cup championship game.

The start of the 2023 World Cup is less than two months away. The defending champions England and New Zealand will face off in the opening game of this ICC mega event on October 5 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. And on November 19th, the final game will take place on the same venue. Beginning on October 8, Team India India will face off against Australia.

In a question-and-answer session on his YouTube channel, AB de Villiers predicted the team that will win the World Cup 2023 title, saying “Definitely, India I think they will win again there. It’s going to be a Fairy Tale World Cup. India, England, Australia will be the three big teams in the semi-finals. Then I’d go with South Africa, although Pakistan also have a good chance“.

He further said, “I have gone to the semi-finals of the World Cup with three non-subcontinent teams, which is very risky. But I will stick to it because I think the wickets will be good. I do not think that bad wickets will be seen during the tournament in the World Cup”.

De Villiers stated that while a final between India and England would be ideal, he also wants his South African team to compete for the Final Match of CWC 2023.

Mr. 360 said “England and India will be in the final. If they face each other in the finals. So I think it would be awesome. Although I really wish my South African boys were there. I don’t think it will be easy for him, but never say no. This is the World Cup in which South Africa have the least expectations, and it could well be for them. They are very talented and very underrated team“.
