Fans on Twitter reacted after Lucknow Super Giants skipper Rishabh Pant bagged another failure in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The keeper-batter failed to get going in the ongoing game against Punjab Kings (PBKS). 

Lucknow Super Giants are hosting Punjab Kings in the 13th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The match between the two teams is taking place at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Tuesday (1st April). 

Lucknow Super Giants was asked to bat first and they had a horrible outing upfront. It was expected that skipper Rishabh Pant would set the stage on fire but that wasn't the case as the keeper-batter bagged his third consecutive failure in the Indian Premier League (IPL). 

Rishabh Pant walked out to bat at number four and looked shaky right from the start. He was removed by Glenn Maxwell in the 5th over as Lucknow Super Giants lost their third wicket inside the powerplay, coming under massive pressure in their third game. 

Glenn Maxwell bowled a drag down down the leg side, and Rishabh Pant was in position to hit it anywhere. But the Lucknow Super Giants skipper ended up hitting straight to short fine. He didn't commit himself to the pull stroke and ended up helping it to Chahal, who didn't make a mistake.

Rishabh Pant was back in the hut after scoring 2 runs off 5 balls. In the ongoing IPL 2025, he hasn't looked in great touch, and this has been the biggest cause of concern for Lucknow Super Giants. The keeper-batter would be keen to now make an impact in the next few games and help his team win.
