The 14-man team that will represent Namibia at the Under-19 Men’s Regional World Cup qualifiers in July has been announced by Cricket Namibia. The Namibian team will fight against Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Uganda, and the host nation Tanzania, according to a Xinhua report. Cricket Namibia claims that the team was only chosen after the selectors carefully observed and followed the training.

The Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup will feature sixteen nations and take place in Sri Lanka in 2024. The 11 Full Member teams have already qualified for the event, leaving the six teams competing in the Africa Regional Qualifier to vie for a spot in the World Cup. The qualifying matches are scheduled to take place in Tanzania from July 21 to July 31.
