Vivo IPL 2021: The fourteenth edition of the glamorous Indian Premier League (IPL) went down to a wire to find out its fourth playoff seat holder. To end the league stage, Mumbai Indians (MI) clashed down with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) while Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) locked horns against Delhi Capitals (DC), last night to provide an absolute thriller to the fans.

No one can simply deny why the gala Indian T20 tournament is the best when it comes to competitiveness and heat. Till the very last breath, Mumbai Indians (MI) fought and pushed their playoff case forward and initially, it looked like they are gonna make it through.

MI won the game against SRH by 42 runs after totalling a colossal 235 runs batting first. In response, SRH shattered Mumbai’s playoff hopes inside the powerplay as the two openers scored 64 runs from just 5.2 overs.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) was the first team to seal its spot in the Vivo IPL 2021 playoffs followed by the Delhi Capitals (DC) and Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The last team to get through the fine line is Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

Vivo IPL 2021 Playoff Schedule and Fixture:

Delhi Capitals (DC) will face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the first qualifier of the Vivo IPL 2021. The winner of the match will straight head to the final while the losing team will get an opportunity to make a comeback.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will clash with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Eliminator, where the winner of the RCB vs KKR match will face the losing team of Qualifier 1 while the losing side will pack their bags and will be eliminated.

After the eliminator, Qualifier 2 will be played out between the winner of the eliminator and the loser of qualifier 1. The winner of the Qualifier 2 will go into the final and will lock horns against the winner of qualifier one.
