Twitter hits back at Harbhajan Singh, says

Twitter hits back at Harbhajan Singh, says “Jealousy at its peak,” for his cryptic tweet on Australia using Ashwin doppelganger: The all-important India vs Australia test series 2023, which is popularly known as Border Gavaskar Trophy, is just around the corner and both sides are leaving no stone unturned to unleash their best on the Indian soil. While Australia landed in India, last week and began their training in Alur, Bengaluru, the Indian test side assembled in Nagpur on February 3.

Australia, after landing in India, revealed that they would be training with Ashwin’s doppelganger – Maheesh Pithiya – to tackle the Indian spinners in the forthcoming four-match test series, which starts on 9th February. Interestingly, Pithiya’s bowling action largely resembles with India’s leading off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.

Against Australia in home conditions, Ravichandran Ashwin enjoys a supreme record as the spinner has scalped 50 wickets, including five five-fors, in eight test matches.

Reacting to the news of Australia using R Ashwin’s double, Maheesh Pithiya, to counter the spin in the Australia tour of India 2023, former Indian opener batter Wasim Jaffer came up with a savage response as he said Ashwin is already inside Australia’s mind even before the four-match test series could start.

“First Test is five days away and @ashwinravi99 is already inside Aus head,” Wasim Jaffer wrote on his official Twitter account.

In response to Wasim Jaffer’s tweet, former India spinner Harbhajan Singh, who is also among India’s leading spinners of all-time, shared a cryptic tweet along with a picture of a pitch with cracks in it. He said, “This the main thing they have in their head.”

However things went haywire for Harbhajan Singh following his tweet as the netizens believe that the former spinner is undermining R Ashwin’s creadibility as a spinner. The fans started to troll Harbhajan Singh as he failed to admit that the Australians are especially training for Ashwin.
