The Indian National Cricket Team is set to compete against Pakistan once more in the Asia Cup 2025, with the spectacular match happening on this date.

Pakistan beat UAE by 41 runs to qualify for the Super Four stage of the 2025 T20 Asia Cup, joining India from Group A. This sets up another India-Pakistan clash on Sunday, September 21 in Dubai. India had already defeated Pakistan earlier by 7 wickets in a match marred by controversy over a handshake snub, which led to a protest by PCB. Despite threatening to skip their match against UAE, Pakistan played after arriving late. India remain unbeaten, while UAE and Oman are eliminated.

Pakistan National Cricket Team won the 10th match of the2025 T20 Asia Cup played versus hosts UAE on Wednesday by a margin of 41 runs. With this victory, the Shaheens qualified for the Super Four stage, while the UAE's journey is now over. Team India and Pakistan have qualified from Group A. However, the match became controversial when Indian players refused to shake hands with Pakistani players. Pakistan lodged an objection to this. The PCB demanded the ICC remove Andy Pycroft, the referee of the match, from the tournament.

However, the ICC refused to do so. Following this, the Pakistani team staged a dramatic drama before the match against the UAE, threatening to skip the match. However, the team arrived at the stadium an hour late, and the match took place.

However, those doubts were put to bed as they won the third match against the UAE. The UAE, meanwhile, has two losses and one win in this tournament, while Oman has lost both matches so far.
