Vivo IPL 2021: The fourteenth season of the Vivo Indian Premier League (IPL) was earlier midway rested as the deadly virus entered various bio bubbles. Days after the suspension of the IPL 2021, the BCCI officially announced that the tournament will be back in action during September-October in the UAE.

Although this was delightful news for every cricket fan and the franchise owner, there were a couple of other complexities that needed to be addressed.

Due to packed international calendars and excessive bubble fatigue, the overseas cricketers had earlier indicated their stance on whether they will be available for the second phase of the IPL 2021 or not.

The Indian T20 League experience such a huge success is because there is an element of overseas players who add flavour to the Indian core.

Although the franchise owners are hopeful of BCCI pulling off things well with their overseas counterparts to make their IPL bound cricketers available for the upcoming competition, the doubt will always be there.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) expectations have always been to somehow get out of the tag called Under Dog’s, however, the franchise has failed miserably to overcome that.

Sanju Samson and his men have won just three games out of seven in the recent IPL 2021 and are placed fifth.

The team has heavily relied on their overseas cricketers especially on English players, which is a sign of worry for the management.

The English players, as said earlier, are likely to be out of the IPL 2021.

The likes of Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer and  Liam Livingstone will be the prominent names to remain out of the IPL 2021 second phase.

Besides these Mustafizur Rahman and Andrew Tye are also likely to pull out.
