Team India’s Top Performers in Test cricket for the year 2022: The year 2023 is just a few hours away. Team India’s performance in the year 2022 has been excellent. Although Men in blue didn’t win any major titles, their performances made an impact and held the team close to titles.

As like every year, BCCI tweeted a post of the best performers for team India of the year. The best performances in Test cricket for Team India this year have come from fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and youngster wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant.

In seven Test matches, Rishabh Pant amassed 680 runs at an average of 61.81. Two centuries and four half-centuries came out of Pant’s bat throughout this time. Out of those two centuries, the first came up against England in England where Rishabh Pant played a dominating 146-run knock in just 111 balls, and the second he scored was against  South Africa in Newlands Cricket Ground, South Africa. Both of his centuries came up in overseas conditions which proves his class.

At the same time, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah took 22 wickets in five matches. He took two 5-wicket hauls to his name and two 3-wicket hauls. In the Newlands ground match, where Rishabh smacked a century, in the same match, Bumrah took his first 5-wicket haul of the year 2022 against South Africa.

His second fifer of this year was at M Chinnaswamy Stadium up against Sri Lanka. He took 5 wickets of the Lions leaking out just 24 runs in only 10 overs. This was one of the best of his performances till now.
