<p>Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) express pacer Umran Malik has filled Indian cricket with excitement following his 150+ clicks thunderbolts. The Jammu and Kashmir pacer can consistently bowl over 145kmph, as seen in the IPL 2022.</p>



<p>Playing for SRH, Umran Malik scalped 22 wickets in 14 matches and was awarded as the ?Emerging Player of the Season.? The pacer was also handed his India call-up for five matches T20I series against South Africa, starting June 8.</p>

<p>Following his struggle late down the order in finishing the innings for a couple of years, SRH finally gave Abhishek Sharma his desired role to start the innings for the orange army. The Amritsar based cricketer not only fulfilled the role bestowed on him but also became SRH?s highest run-getter in the tournament.</p>



<p>The 26-years old cricketer consistently provided brisk starts to SRH, despite his partner, Kane Williamson struggling at the other end. Abhishek Sharma scored a total of 426 runs in 14 matches of the Tata IPL 2022 at a strike rate of over 130 and an average of 30.43.</p>

<p>Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) roped in Rajat Patidar for the remainder of the IPL 2022 after Luvnith Sisodia was injured and ruled out of the tournament. Patidar come in as a replacement and didn?t let the opportunity slip away from his hands.</p>



<p>The Indore based cricketer played one of the best knocks of the IPL 2022 scoring a century in just 43 deliveries in the eliminator against Lucknow Super Giants. Rajat Patidar muscled 333 runs for RCB in just seven innings at a brilliant average of 55.50.</p>



<p>From being unsold at the player auction 2022 to becoming RCB?s impactful performer, Rajat Patidar did exceedingly well throughout the tournament and helped RCB reach qualifier 2.</p>

<p>Though Mumbai Indians (MI) suffered a bumpy season in the Indian Premier League, the franchise had several bright spots which kept them going in the tournament. Tilak Verma was one such bright spot for the five-time IPL champions.</p>



<p>The 19-year old cricketer firmly kept scoring in the middle order, no matter how his team performed. Verma not only played sensible cricket and saved Mumbai from a couple of humiliating debacles, but also accelerated the innings when required.</p>



<p>In his 14 innings in the IPL 2022, Tilak Verma scored 397 runs at an impressive average of 36.09 and a strike rate of 131.02.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/?s=India" rel="nofollow">India </a>was fined five per cent of their match fee for falling one over short of the minimum over rate, whereas <a href="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/?s=West+Indies" rel="nofollow">West Indies</a> have been fined 10 per cent of their match fee for falling two overs short of the minimum over rate.</p>



<p>The match was played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad, on August 3, 2023. West Indies won the match by four runs. In addition to the fine, India and West Indies have also been warned to maintain a better over rate in the upcoming matches.</p>



<p>This is not the first time that India has been fined for slow over-rate. In the ICC World Test Championship final 2022-23 against Australia, India was fined 100 per cent of its match fee for falling 34 overs short of the minimum over rate.</p>



<p>Slow over-rate has become a significant problem in international cricket in recent years. In order to address this issue, the ICC has introduced several new rules, including a mandatory time-out after 20 overs of each innings.</p>

<p>In the First T20I Match, West Indies won the toss, and they chose to bat first on the good batting pitch of Brian Lara Stadium. West Indies had a decent start as they lost two wickets in the powerplay.</p>



<p>In the Middle Overs, West Indies Batters have played excellent cricket, especially Skipper Rovman Powell and Nicholas Pooran, who scored 48 and 41 runs, respectively. From Indian Side, Arshdeep Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal took two wickets each.</p>

<p>Chasing the target of 152 runs, the start of the West Indies team was not special, the Caribbean team had lost all three of their top order batsmen by the fourth over of the powerplay. <p><strong>IND vs WI: </strong>Renowned English cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle has commented on the controversy between Hardik Pandya and Tilak Verma in the third match played between India vs West Indies. The third match of the five-match series was played on August 8 at the Providence Stadium in Guyana, in which the Indian team defeated the West Indies by seven wickets.</p>



<p>India needed only 2 runs in 14 balls to win, then on the fourth ball of the 18th over, Hardik Pandya gave India the first win in the series by hitting the wheel in his own style. However, the victory was interrupted when Pandya, who was batting at the non-striker's end on 49 at the non-striker's end, asked Tilak to stay put in the stump mic recording.</p>
