IND vs NED match in T20 World Cup 2026 saw India winning the clash.
India ended their group stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 with a brilliant win. The Suryakumar Yadav-led side beat the Netherlands by 17 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Opting to bat, India posted 193 for six, in response, the Netherlands fought hard but managed 176 for seven.
Abhishek Sharma’s dreadful run in the tournament continued as he bagged his third straight duck of the tournament. Ishan Kishan (18) was unlucky as well and couldn’t score big.
With two early wickets, Tilak Varma (31) and captain Suryakumar Yadav (34) played decent hands that made sure India scored crucial runs in the middle phase. However, they lacked fluency, and it was Shivam Dube (66:31b, 4x4, 6x6), who changed the momentum of the innings.
Hardik Pandya (30:21b, 3x6) also supported him brilliantly as India had a strong finish. Thanks to their 76-run stand, India ended with 193 for six.

The Netherlands had a decent start to their innings with Michael Levitt (24) and Max O’Dowd (20) adding 35 runs for the opening stand. But the introduction of Varun Chakravarthy changed the course of the game with his three wickets.
Bas de Leede (33) and Colin Ackermann (23) played vital hands but both fell at crucial stages. The Netherlands kept losing wickets at regular intervals but their fight was pretty spot on.
Zah Lion-Cachet (26) and Noah Croes (25) tested Indian bowlers in the end, but thankfully the target was beyond reach as India won by 17 runs.
