Just a day after Australia, this Friday afternoon (2 September), the England Cricket Board presented their strong 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup 2022 tournament to be held on Australian soil starting mid-October.
Jason Roy misses out on Jos Buttler-led England squad due to injury, which itself is a huge setback for the team management before the start of the tournament. Left-arm fast bowler Reece Topley, as a result of his excellent performance in the last 5-6 months, has got his name in England’s T20 World Cup squad.

Aggressive batsmen like Jonny Bairstow and skipper Jos Buttler in the top order and the firepower in the late overs, players like Livingston and Ben Stokes who can make it rain sixes and fours which lets the team’s batting lineup threatening for their opponents.
As well as when it comes to bowling, with the return of Mark Wood and Chris Woakes, the team’s bowling unit looks strong too. Overall England is looking balanced team with all the boxes checked.
England has lifted the trophy only once in the history of the T20 World Cup, which was back in the year 2010, this time England team will try their best to lift the trophy again after 12 years.
