BCCI President Sourav Ganguly hospitalised after testing covid positive: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president and former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly has been admitted to the hospital after testing Covid positive recently. 

The news agency PTI quoted BCCI source as saying, “BCCI President and former India captain Sourav Ganguly admitted to hospital after testing positive for Covid-19″.

It is further reported that Ganguly has mild symptoms of the virus and has been hospitalised in the Woodlands hospital in Kolkata.

It is noteworthy that BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, earlier, was admitted to the hospital after complaints of chest discomforts. 

Later is was confirmed that Ganguly suffered a heart attack while exercising and had to undergo a right coronary angioplasty. 20 days after his discharge from the hospital, the BCCI chief complained of similar chest pain following which he was taken for the second round of angioplasty.

Since the second round of angioplasty, Sourav Ganguly is working fine and he resumed his work for Indian cricket. Soon, he became active with all the cricketing actions and also hosted the IPL 2021 and the T20 World Cup 2021 in the UAE.

It is important to note that Sourav Ganguly is fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
