Babar Azam: Pakistan is all set to lock horns with Sri Lanka in the two-match Test series. The first game will be played on 16th July whereas the second game is slated to take place on 24th July. The series will mark the beginning of Pakistan’s campaign in the World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle.
Pakistan Cricket team are putting in hard yards and are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for the Test series against Sri Lanka. Ahead of the series, an uncensored video of skipper Babar Azam has got viral on the internet.
In the video that has hogged the headlines, Babar Azam is seen playing shots in both directions of the wicket and is asking the bowler to surprise him with short balls. He, however, can be heard saying “Allah” just after leaving a ball outside the off-stump.
Babar Azam looked quite animated as after he didn’t time the ball well, he can be heard saying “Babar day bachay” loudly. If this was not enough he also says “Haye Haye” and “oye lala” right after hitting the ball.

During the fag end of the video, Babar Azam had a conversation with the throwdown expert and instructed him, saying “Bouncer apni marzi se maro,” before adding “woh poochke thori karaienge (the opposition won’t ask me before bowling a bouncer.)”
