Rohit Sharma-led team India is currently on a tour of West Indies for a 2-match red ball series and 8-match white ball series. The tour will kick start today with the first test to be played between India and West Indies. Rinku Singh and Sarfaraz Khan were among some unlucky guys who didn’t receive the team India callout so the skipper Rohit Sharma delivers a special message to ignored Rinku Singh, Sarfaraz Khan, and like players who missed out this time for Ind vs WI 2023 Tour.

Today, 12th July, India will play West Indies in the first test of the tour which will get commenced at 7:30 PM IST. On the eve of the first test, the skipper Rohit Sharma passed a motivational and supporting massage for the likes of Rinku Singh and Sarfaraz Khan.

Rinku Singh, who came into the limelight just after he smashed 5 consecutive sixes in the last final over to Yash Dayal of Gujarat Titans. His role got bigger and bigger going forward in the tournament. Fans and some cricket experts were quite hopeful for his national team call-out. The T20I Squad for West Indies series is however full of youngsters but Rinku Singh couldn’t make out to the list.

Sarfaraz Khan, on the other hand, had a couple of exceptional first-class seasons recently and almost everyone was pretty sure that he is definitely going to West Indies in the test Squad, but unfortunate for him that his discipline and fitness became the thorn in the flesh.

Fans criticized the BCCI and the selection committee, which was directed by Ajit Agarkar, for the omission of both players. Cricket experts allegedly stated, “BCCI seeks IPL performances for Test selection so don’t play domestic, just play IPL.”

Rohit Sharma’s Message

A recent incident saw Rohit Sharma praising the young players for making it to the team while also speaking of other players who were left out. He said, “Jaiswal and Gaikwad are in great shape and will take Indian cricket forward. You know they have worked hard in domestic cricket, and have been rewarded for the same.

“Jaiswal and Gaikwad were on the selectors’ radar and were being closely monitored. I am happy that they have got a chance,” he added.

Coming to the point of players being outlooked, Rohit Sharma Said, “A couple of other players missed out. Unfortunately, you can only pick 15-16 players in the team, but everyone’s time will come. That’s what I want to say.
