Sarfaraz Khan has been a rage in the Indian domestic circuit for the past 3 seasons. He has been dominating the domestic circuit. His domestic career began with Mumbai, after which he represented his native state of Uttar Pradesh for a few seasons in the Ranji Trophy. After the Indian cricket team was announced for the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023, and Sarfaraz Khan was not picked, Mumbai was supposed to play against Delhi. Venkatesh Prasad Slams Selectors After Not Picking Sarfaraz:
Venkatesh Prasad slammed the selection panel that is headed by Chetan Sharma after they chose to pick Suryakumar Yadav over Sarfaraz Khan. He said, “There are many with more kgs.” This was suggesting that Sarfaraz might be a little overweight or may appear unfit but if he is fit enough to score a ton of runs every Ranji season, fitness should never be the reason for not picking him.
