IPL Auction 2023 is set to start Friday afternoon, December 23, in Kochi. There are 991 players registered for the TATA IPL 2023 auction. Although this is a mini-auction, you can see there are so many star players on the list. With a limited amount of money in the team purse, bringing in the best players will be difficult. Sunrisers Hyderabad is clearly in a better position, with a revenue of Rs 42.25 crore to spend on the auction day. MI, CSK, DC, GT, and LSG have 20 crores in their purses, but if they spend Rs 10 crore or more on one player like Sam Curran or Ben Stokes, they will not be in a position to add more star players to their squad.
