RCB Star Yash Dayal Moves High Court in Exploitation Case, Seeks FIR Quashing and Protection from Arrest

RCB star Yash Dayal moves High Court seeking to quash an FIR filed against him and stay his arrest in a sexual exploitation case. On July 10, 2025, the Allahabad High Court received Dayal’s petition after a Ghaziabad woman accused him of emotionally, mentally, and physically exploiting her under false marriage promises. 

The 27-year-old pacer, key to RCB’s IPL 2025 win, denies any physical relationship and claims the woman was treated like family. The case, filed under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, has sparked debate as Dayal fights to clear his name.

Filing for FIR Quashing

RCB star Yash Dayal moves High Court to quash an FIR filed on July 7, 2025, at Indirapuram police station. A Ghaziabad woman accused him of exploiting her over a five-year relationship, alleging false marriage promises. 

Dayal’s petition, filed on July 10 at the Allahabad High Court, denies any physical relationship and seeks to dismiss the case under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which carries up to 10 years in prison. He also requested protection from arrest.

Dayal’s Defense Claims

RCB star Yash Dayal moves High Court, stating the relationship was a mutual friendship that soured due to the complainant’s actions. His petition claims she was treated like a daughter-in-law by his family, showing no intent to deceive. 

Dayal alleges the woman borrowed lakhs for medical expenses and stole an iPhone and laptop. He filed a counter-complaint withthe  Prayagraj police, seeking an FIR against her and her family for theft and false accusations.

Allegations Against Dayal

RCB star Yash Dayal moves High Court amid serious allegations. The complainant claims a five-year relationship starting in 2020 via Instagram, alleging Dayal promised marriage, introduced her to his family, and exploited her emotionally, mentally, and physically. 

She provided chat records, photos, and video calls as evidence, claiming he assaulted her when confronted about other relationships. The woman says she suffered depression and attempted suicide due to the ordeal.

Legal Proceedings Update

RCB star Yash Dayal moves High Court as Ghaziabad police investigate. The FIR followed the woman’s June 21 complaint via the Chief Minister’s portal. Police have recorded her statement and issued Dayal a notice. No arrest has been made, pending further evidence. 

The court will review Dayal’s plea for a stay on arrest and FIR quashing, with a hearing expected soon. The case has drawn attention amid India’s ongoing England Test series.
