PSL 2025 Points Table Latest Updated on 17th April, After Islamabad United vs Multan Sultan!
PSL 2025 Points Table: Islamabad United continued their winning streak in the PSL 2025 by defeating Multan Sultans in a high-scoring encounter. The match, played on 17th April, saw Islamabad United posting a huge total and then defending it comfortably.
With this win, they now sit at the top of the points table with three wins in three games, while Multan Sultans are still looking for their first win of the season.

Islamabad United batted first and put up a massive score, thanks to a solid start from opener Sahibzada Farhan. He hit a quick 50 off 30 balls and gave United the momentum early on. However, after the strategic timeout, wickets started to fall and the run rate dipped.
Between the 11th and 16th over, United scored just 36 runs and lost three key wickets. It looked like Multan would keep them under 180, but powerful cameos from Haider Ali and Jason Holder in the last few overs helped them cross the 200-run mark.
In reply, Multan Sultans began well with Rizwan and Usman forming a 59-run partnership in the powerplay. But once Rizwan got out in the 11th over, the innings collapsed. They kept losing wickets and could not build any meaningful partnerships. Iftikhar Ahmed tried to fight back but lacked support from the other end.

Sahibzada Farhan was one of the stars with his explosive half-century at the top. However, the true match-winner was Jason Holder. Not only did he smash quick runs in the death overs, but he also shone with the ball, picking up 4 wickets for just 25 runs. His all-round performance made a big difference in the match. Haider Ali also played a handy knock that helped boost the total in the final overs.
