Venue changed, not the toss result! Punjab Kings' skipper Shreyas Iyer again won the toss against KKR, and he opted to bat first as well. Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh started things for PBKS in an aggressive still sensible fashion. They posted 56 runs in the batting powerplay. 

Chetan Sakariya and Harshit Rana went extremely expensive as the two openers notched up a 120-run partnership for the first wicket. Priyansh Arya became the first wicket for PBKS at 69 off 35 balls, while Prabhsimran lost his wicket at 83 off 49 balls. 

They laid the foundation for a very high score at Eden Gardens, but none of the upcoming batters found the sweet connections. Shreyas Iyer launched an attack but wasn't able to make the most out of it. At the end, Punjab Kings posted 201 runs on the board after playing their 20 overs with the loss of four wickets.
