New Zealand Overtakes India & Pakistan in ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 Standings | ICC WTC Points Table

New Zealand defeated West Indies in the second test with a dominating performance at Wellington. With this, New Zealand surpassed India and Pakistan in the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 Standings and is now at third spot with a PCT of 66.67%. As of now, New Zealand is leading the three-match test series against West Indies by 1-0.

The First test match was a draw, West Indies showed exceptional cricket against New Zealand in the fourth inning. Justin Greaves played an exceptional knock of 202 runs and saved his team from collapse, and later saved the match. Both teams played fantastic cricket in the first test match, but New Zealand dominated in their second WTC test match.

Jacob Duffy was the player of the match in the second test for his heroic spell in the second inning, where he took five wickets. Both the batters and bowlers of New Zealand have shown great cricketing skills; however, the West Indies could have done much better, especially with the bat in their second innings.
