New Schedule of India vs Sri Lanka T20Is and Test Series 2022: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released a revised schedule for the forthcoming Sri Lanka tour of India 2022. The island nation is slated to visit India for two test matches and three T20Is.

Originally, India and Sri Lanka were scheduled to play test matches followed by the T20Is, but as per the revised schedule, the three games T20I series will be held first followed by the Test matches. The tour will get underway on February 24 in Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium.

The first T20I will be hosted by Lucknow while the next two will be held in Dharmshala, Himachal Pradesh.

The first of the two test matches series is fixed to be held in Mohali which is going to be Virat Kohli’s 100th test match. The match will get underway on March 4. The second test match will be staged in Bangaluru, starting March 12. The Bangalore test match will be the day and night test match between India and Sri Lanka.

Earlier, Virat Kohli’s 100th test appearance was planned to be held in Bangaluru, which is apparently his second home because of his 14 years long-standing association with the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

New Schedule of India vs Sri Lanka T20Is and Test Series 2022:

Currently, team India is gearing up for the three matches T20I series against West Indies, starting February 16, after defeating the visitors in the three games ODI series. India registered a complete whitewash against West Indies in the three ODIs held in Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

The first T20I between India and West Indies will be held on 16th February in Kolkata’s Eden Gardens.
