Chris Jordan to Join the Mumbai Indians as a Replacement:
Chirs Jordan is supposed to join the Mumbai Indians as reported by a few top media houses. It is very unclear about which overseas player he is supposed to replace. But it is likely that it is Jofra Archer who might be replaced. Jofra was out for a few games due to injury. The other overseas players that the Mumbai team has include Riley Meredith, Jason Behrendorf, and Duan Jansen. They also have Tristan Stubbs and Dewald Brevis.
Chris Jordan last played in the TATA IPL 2022. He was a part of the Chennai Super Kings last season. In the 4 games that he played for them; he was able to pick up 2 wickets. In the 28 IPL games that he has played so far, he has picked 27 wickets. Jordan has a lot of experience in T20 leagues as he has been a part of many franchises over the past few years. He has played in the top leagues across the globe such as BBL, BPL, and CPL. He has also done well in the PSL.

Jordan was a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2016. He was also a part of the World Cup-winning England team in 2022. With all this experience Jordan will certainly bring immense value to the squad. The Mumbai Indians have been marred by injuries this season. These injuries have possibly ruined their TATA IPL 2023 campaign as a whole. First, it was Jasprit Bumrah who was out due to injury followed by Jhye Richardson. The next one to leave was Jofra Archer. He played a game post-injury but looked ineffective compared to the standard that he has set for himself.
