After three back-to-back losses, UP Warriorz finally managed their first win of the WPL 2026. They beat the Mumbai Indians by seven wickets at the Dr DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Thursday. Asked to bat, Mumbai posted a total of 161 for five, which UP chased with around two overs to spare.

G Kamalini’s poor run with the bat continued as she fell for just five off 13 balls. Opener Amanjot Kaur (38) played a great hand at the top before Nat Sciver Brunt (65) chipped in a flawless half-century. Captain Harmapreet Kaurf failed to carry on her good form from the last match.

But Nicola Carey (32*) came up with a useful hand down the order. She stitched an 85-run stand with Sciver-Brunt that provided much-needed momentum to Mumbai’s innings. Based on their partnership, Mumbai posted a total of 161 for five.
