Latest IPL Points Table 2024: Rajasthan Royals (RR) remain undefeated in the ongoing TATA IPL 2024 with their sublime win against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur. Sanju Samson and Co. bagged a comprehensive six-wicket win for the team and moved to the top of the IPL Points Table 2024.

Won’t be wrong to say, it surely looked like a cakewalk for the Royals, as they hunted down the 183-run target against RCB. Bengaluru, despite, Virat Kohli’s century, couldn’t show resistance to the Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur.

RCB rode on the back of Virat Kohli’s fantastic ton and posted 183 runs in 20 overs. Kohli remained unbeaten at 113 runs in 72 deliveries, which included 12 boundaries and four sixes. Skipper Faf du Plessis played the second fiddle until he was dismissed and contributed 44 runs to the team’s total in 33 deliveries.

RCB came roaring in the second innings as they removed Yashasvi Jaiswal for a duck. However, things looked pretty bland post the wicket of the southpaw.

Skipper Sanju Samson and Josh Buttler stitched a fruitful partnership and took the team’s total to 148 runs in the 15th over. Though RCB managed to bag Samson’s wicket, it was too late for them to contain the RR’s dominance.

Samson was dismissed after scoring 69 runs in 42 deliveries in the 15th over. A couple of cheap wickets fell after Samson’s wicket, however, the other end was tightly held by Josh Buttler, who was nearing his century.

RR required 1 run off the final over, and Buttler needed a six to complete his century. The English batter pulled Cameron Green for a six in the deep mid-wicket region as he completed a memorable century in his 100th IPL match.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) extended their unbeaten run in the TATA IPL 2024 and subsequently moved to the top of the IPL Points Table. Let’s take a look at the Latest IPL Points Table 2024 Updated (April 7), Most 100s, Most 50s Updated List | IPL 2024.
