IPL 2026: List of players who have a base price of INR 2 crore in auction
The IPL 2026 auction will take place in Abu Dhabi.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 auction is around the corner and the preparations are in full flow for it. The bidding event will take place in Abu Dhabi on December 16 and this will be the third time the auction will take place outside India.
The IPL 2026 auction will see as many as 350 players going under hammer. Earlier 1390 players registered for the IPL 2026 auction but only a few were shortlisted. A total of 240 Indians will be there as well along with 110 are overseas players.
The breakdown of 240 Indians includes 224 uncapped players and 110 overseas players include 14 uncapped players. All these 350 players will be going under the hammer to fill the 77 available slots, out of which 31 spots are reserved for overseas players.
The IPL 2026 auction will be a blockbuster event and will see some of the big names going under the hammer. A lot of records are expected to get shattered with players fetching big bids.
A total of 40 players have registered themselves at a base price of INR 2 crore. These are the marquee players and the spotlight will be on them as they go into the auction.
