The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 is all set for another season, and the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), will be looking to defend their title in IPL 2026. As per the latest IPL Schedule 2026, RCB will start their campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on March 28, 2026.

The IPL 2026 opening match, RCB vs SRH, will be played at the iconic M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. It’s going to be a high-voltage game, and a huge crowd is expected to come for the opening game. However, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are usually part of the opening games in the Indian Premier League, but they didn’t get a chance to play the opener.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the IPL 2026 Schedule for the first 20 matches, and RCB will play four matches in the first phase of the tournament. The IPL 2026 Schedule will be declared in phases due to state elections in some states.

RCB Start their Campaign at Home

The defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), will play their first two matches of the IPL 2026 at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB will begin the new edition against Sunrisers on March 28, then they will be playing against rivals Chennai Super Kings on April 5 in Bengaluru.

After the two home matches, RCB will travel for their next two games of the first phase. Royal Challengers Bengaluru will play against Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati on April 10, and then, they will be facing Mumbai Indians on April 12 at Wankhede.
