MS Dhoni: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 has been a host to staggering competition between bat and ball. The teams have played some excellent brand of cricket and have left no stone unturned in outclassing the opposition. With the way the tournament has started, it’s fair to say that some more exciting things are to be followed.

The 24th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 took place between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Chinnaswamy stadium. It was another nail-bitter that kept many on their toes but it was MS Dhoni’s men who emerge victorious in the end.
Asked to bat first, they lost Ruturaj Gaikwad for just 3 runs but after that, it was carnage from their end as they took RCB bowlers to cleaners and smashed them all over the park. Devon Conway (83) and Ajinkya Rahane (37) made a mockery of the opposition before Shivam Dube chipped in with a brutal half-century.

A finish by Ambati Rayudu (14) and Mooen Ali (19*) helped CSK post a gigantic total of 226 runs on the board. For Royal Challengers Bangalore, Wanindu Hasaranga was the pick of the bowlers as he returned with the figures of 1/21 whereas others also chipped in with one wicket each.
Chasing the target, Royal Challengers Bangalore had a horrible start as they lost Virat Kohli (6) and Mahipal Lomror (0) early and found themselves tumbling at 15/2. But after that, it was Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell’s show. The duo smashed brutal half-centuries and brought their side back into the game but lost their wickets at crucial junctures of the game.
CSK bowlers then picked wickets at regular intervals and despite the game going down the wire, they held their nerves and won the game by 8 runs. Dinesh Karthik (28) tried his best but couldn’t take his side home as RCB suffered their third loss.

After the game, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni were seen exchanging some words with each other. The duo were engaged in a long conversation. What caught the attention of many was when Kohli burst into laughter after talks with Dhoni.
