IPL 2023: RCB won the match by eight wickets and now moves to the fourth spot in the points table. Virat knocked his first century of IPL 2023, whereas Faf contributed with 71 runs, and both led their team to victory.
From SRH side, Heinrich Klaasen also knocked a century but his century got in vain as the SRH bowlers couldn’t take the wickets and didn’t break the partnership and hence lost the match.
Virat Knocked his First Century of IPL 2023:
In the Second Inning, Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis both started with a clear mindset of playing aggressively, and they succeeded in it as both of them made 172 runs partnership for the 1st wickets, which is the highest partnership in the TATA IPL 2023 for any wicket. Both capitalize on the key bowler’s overs and dominate the whole from the very first ball of this inning.
Virat scored 100 runs in 53 balls with 12 fours and four sixes, whereas Faf du Plessis made 71 runs in 47 balls with seven fours and two sixes. Faf was trying to give many strikes to Virat Kohli as today, he looks good intent and trying to play good cricket shots, and in the end, RCB won this game.
SRH bowers just watching the balls:
One more time, sunrises Hyderabad bowlers needed to bowl on better line & length. As a result, they leaked lots of runs and couldn’t ever break the partnership of Faf and Virat. There were some chances created, but the SRH players missed those chances.
Glenn Philips dropped the catch in the powerplay as Faf du Plessis when he was not event-scored 20 runs. Bhuvneshwar and Natarajan took one wicket each.
Heinrich Klaasen knocked century:
In the First Inning, Sunriser Hyderabad again changed the opening pair, and both got out in the powerplay. Skipper Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen both made a crucial partnership of 76 runs for the 3rd wicket.
Both of them played a responsible inning, especially Klaasen, who knocked his first IPL century and scored 104 runs in 51 balls with eight four and six sixes. Harry Brook has scored 27 runs in 19 balls with two fours and one sixes, and They all led their team to a good target of 186 runs.
Michael Bracewell’s impressive spell:
Bangalore’s key bowlers wouldn’t perform well in this match, but Michael Bracewell has taken two wickets in his two-over spell and bowls at an economy rate of 6.50. Siraj, Shahbaz, and Harshal took one wicket each, whereas Karn Sharma leaked many runs in the middle overs.
