IPL 2023 Playoffs Schedule, Venue, Qualified Teams, Winning Predictions: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has finally released the schedule for the much anticipated IPL 2023 playoffs. As per the latest developments IPL 2023 Playoffs will begin on 23rd May and the final of the lucrative Indian T20 League will be held on 28th May 2023.
Earlier, the BCCI had released the comprehensive schedule for the ongoing IPL 2023 league stages which include 70 matches. The proceedings of 28 IPL 2023 matches have been completed with the 29th match underway between CSK and SRH at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
The top four teams at the end of the league stage will advance to the IPL 2023 playoffs. These teams will then play 2 qualifiers along with an eliminator to give us the finalists of the IPL season sixteen.

IPL 2023 Playoffs Venue
The BCCI has shortlisted Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium and Ahmedabad’s iconic Narendra Modi Stadium to stage the playoffs of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). While Chennai will host Qualifier 1 and the eliminator, Ahmedabad will host Qualifier 2 and the final of the Tata IPL 2023.
Interestingly, Ahmedabad has staged the playoff matches of the IPL 2022 as well. It held Qualifier 2 between RR and RCB before setting the stage for the IPL 2022 Final between GT and RR last year.
On the other side, Chennai has received hosting rights for the IPL 2023 playoffs after three years. It last held an IPL playoff match back in 2019. Besides 2019, MA Chidambaram Stadium staged finals of the lucrative Indian Premier League in 2011 and 2012.
