IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals replaced Injured Kamlesh Nagarkoti with Priyam Garg. Kamlesh Nagarokti suffered a back injury at the beginning of Tata IPL 2023.
The team management decided to replace Nagarkoti due to his injury.
Kamlesh Nagarkoti is a young Indian All-rounder who can bowl regularly at 140+ kmph. It is a major setback for Delhi Capitals because they struggle with multiple injuries this season.
The performance of the Delhi Capitals in the ongoing IPL could be better, especially their batting order, which relies on David Warner and Axar Patel. DC break the streak of losing five consecutive IPL matches against KKR by winning the game with four wickets.
Priyam Garg Previous Performance:
Garg Captained the Indians in U19 Cricket World Cup 2020, who was Runner Up in the Tournament. He played for Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket and played IPL 2021 for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
He played 21 matches till now in IPL and scored 251 runs with a strike rate of 115.14 with one half-century. Delhi Capitals signed for the rest of the ongoing season at a base price of 20 lakhs rupees.
There is a High chance that Priyam will play today’s match between SRH and DC. He joined the camp of DC before the KKR clash at Arun Jaitley Stadium. He also started training with DC teammates for upcoming DC matches in IPL 2023.
Nagarkoti played 12 IPL matches for KKR last season and took five wickets in his IPL Career. In the IPL 2023 auction, Delhi Capitals picked him at 1.1 Crore rupees after Kolkata Knight Riders released him in IPL 2022 Mega Auction.
